Children's Ministry
Please visit our Church Calendar for upcoming activities.
| Children are a vital part of the church family at First Baptist. Our ministry to children provides opportunities to help them grow in relationship to God and others. |
| Weekly Opportunities for Children are: |

Bible passages and stories are taught through a variety of learning activities. The teachers help children apply these truths in their lives. Children are grouped into classes according to school grade. |
| Bible Skills Thrills and Drills meets at 5:00 PM on Sundays during the school year
Planned activities, crafts and creative Bible stories help children learn scripture, develop skills in the use of the Bible, and learn how to apply the Bible. Children are grouped according to school grades. |
| Children’s Choir meets at 6:00 PM on Wednesdays during the school year
Children’s choir provides opportunities where children grades 1-6 learn praise and worship to God. Each year they present a Christmas Musical/Drama and help lead the VBS Music. |
| Girls in Action (GAs) is a comprehensive missions education program for girls in grades 1-6. It is offered on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM. Through participation in GA, girls grow in their knowledge, understanding and application of the Bible. They also learn from the example of missionaries and hand-on-mission action what it means to actively engage in ministering to others with the compassion of Christ. |
| Royal Ambassadors (RAs) is Bible centered mission education for boys in grades 1-6. The groups meet on Wednesday at 6:30 PM. The RA Motto “We are Ambassadors for Christ” not only gives the organization its name, but also gives the boys and leaders a lifestyle goal. RAs participate in hand-on-mission activities, camping trips and other activities during the year. |
