First Baptist Church began as a Mission

First Baptist began as a mission in the home of Mr. & Mrs. Carl Handley in 1955. In September of 1965, First Baptist, Fairview was organized as a church. Our church is a circle of believers holding hands facing outward. We are always looking for others to join our family and enter the circle - there is always enough love to go around.

Upcoming Events at First Baptist

Saddle Ridge Ranch (VBS 2010) July 11-15 from 6:30 – 8:45 PM. Children ages 4 thru 6th grade will are invited to hit the trail where we’ll be roundin’ up questions and drivin’ home answers.

Pick Up and Go for youth grades 7-12 will also meet July 11-15 from 6:30 – 8:45 PM.

World Changers Mission Team will serve in Indianapolis, Indiana the week of June 14-19. The FBC team includes youth grades 7-12 and their leaders.

Centrifuge Camp for grades 7-12 is July 5-9 at Ridgecrest in Ashville, North Carolina.

Centri-Kid Camp for those who have completed grades 3-6 is July 19-23 in Georgetown, Kentucky.
