2026 Upward Season
Registration begins June 8, 2026.
The Upward Flag Football and Cheerleading League focuses on character development, drills, gameplay and skills training. There is one practice and one game per week. A unique substitution system ensures that every young athlete plays. Each child receives a quality game day uniform and other sport related gear. Coaches are focused on your athlete's development and help with age-appropriate character and skill development both on and off the field. Cost: $120.00 per participant. $10 discount for additional siblings. Payment can be done by card on Upward site when they register or cash/check due at evaluations.
Evaluations will be held at First Baptist Church Fairview (youth room/grass hill) on Saturday, July 18, 2026 and Saturday, July 25, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Each child must participate on one of those dates.
Parent orientation (Fellowship hall) and mini-football camp/cheer clinic (grass hill/youth room) will be held at First Baptist Church on August 15, 2026 from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.
Practices every Tuesday and Thursday 6-7pm at Fairview High practice field. They will begin August 18th.
Game schedule: 1:00 & 2:30pm on Saturdays 6:15 & 7:30pm on T/Th games

Saturday, Oct. 24 (celebration day) Parents play kids during the last quarter of the final game on October 24th. Also, we will have our celebration on October 24th beginning at 1:30pm. The first game will start at 12:30pm and the second game will start right after the award celebration. Lunch is on us!
